The field of Christian Apologetics and Christian websites in general has become very crowded these days. I can only consider that, for the most part, a very good thing. So what benefit is there in one more of them, you ask? What I hope to provide here is a very simple and easy-to-use resource for people looking for answers to common issues, as well as a resource for Christians seeking witnessing materials. The main benefit of the site is its links to Quizlet sets which can be easily drilled and printed out for reference to take to the streets, as it were.
Please understand that my goal in refuting false teaching on this site is not to attack the people involved in these sects in an unloving way, but rather to clearly demonstrate their error in hopes they will turn away from it and to the truth of scripture.
The ultimate purpose of this site is to follow this command:
Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. (Jude 1:3-4 ESV)
The truth is, these prophetic words have already been fulfilled in our day:
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Peter 2:1 ESV)
It is the duty of every true Christian to recognize and root out false teaching from among the people. It is my hope that with this page I will be able to accomplish this, at least in some small way. God bless you all.
What is the truth? What is the gospel?
Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
